oh well.. these 2 days havent been great.. today's worse... yesterday was bad drumming day - couldnt practise coz they fixing the doors of the 2 labs where i have booked; played lousily in EW class but i couldnt care less(didnt prac ma) finally the vending machine is fixed n i got to drink my yummy coffee after the class... it was great man... i wanted to prac in the evening ( there's some free labs avail) but in the end was feeling a-non-drumming-day mood n slacked ard more..(but i did prac my strokes)went for the danny gotlieb clinic at 7pm. it was amazing! he played w steve(my theory/harmony teacher) n jeff! danny is really awesome! he really touched on technique stuff... the diff techniques used by diff ppl... he's joe morello student btw..he shared w us alot of things... dave weckl's teacher gary chester...n more!

anyway today is really bad.. i played so lousily in class tt i couldnt believe it... things have been looking up earlier this week... contemporary class was great.. i nailed the song right there n then just tt i didnt play much bass drum.. rhythm basics EW was fantastic! one of the most solid playing n satisfying one.. things went downhill on thurs n fri(today)

it didnt help totally tt the cut on my finger was getting bigger n it hurts when i play... in today's class my stick flew out of my hand twice!! so sian... total screwed up. i am totally upset w the playing coz i know tt 1) i can do this shit 2) this is not supposed to be happening. wtf!! nate, the sub teacher for gary was a really cool guy/teacher.. i hope he will come to our sch often! oh well prac abit b4 my private lesson w matt. i was pretty frustrated n just let abit out when he asked me about my day. haha it was pretty funny. i replied "baaad." anyway i think he enjoys seeing the way i tok coz it's hilarious.. haha but it's totally screwed up today.. the private lesson went well but i hope i can still rem to do the things he wan me to do. haha i rem telling him i enjoyed contemporary class this week ONLY when he asked which class i like most. haha told him mike said tt my playing was mature... his response was it's a compliment from mike when he says tt... it also means musically. maybe i shd just play contemporary.. lol.. Love was really nice n comforted me abit...siiiiiigh

wanted to prac after lesson since the sch is almost empty... but the sun was setting and i better get my ass home b4 it gets too dark... SIGH... complained to katsu a little about this.. must find an apartment real soon!!!

oh some of my frds went to ice skate.. couldnt go along coz i have my private lesson :( and i need to prac... sigh...

i miss band totally!! i went to search online for some symphonic bands to join.. i duno if i have any time for tt :( coz their prac is wkday nites...abit hard for me coz the venues may not be very accessible coz i dun drive n it'll take along time to reach tt place.. by the time i end sch n go down it's like duno wat time le lo... see how it goes i guess... i certainly do miss band.... esp after tt mon's performance i saw.... i was so touched to hear the marimba sound played live... i hoped tt i was playing it (not tt im super zai can play like shen or wat) too used to playing diff instruments n multi tasking... sigh
